Safety in Rio de Janeiro
I have served as a tour guide in Rio to over 8,000 people and not one of my customers has had a problem with crime during our tour.
Rio de Janeiro is a major city, and unfortunately, like most major cities, Rio has a crime problem (which is overstated by the media in my opinion). Also, like many other major cities, being safe is a matter of knowing where to go and how to get there.
The bottom line the safety of my customers is my highest priority. I want you to see the Rio de Janeiro I know and love, so I have designed my tours in a way that you will never be uncomfortable or feel at risk.
